With rapid globalization comes the need to support multiple languages, customs, and currencies. Our system has been designed to support multiple languages in almost every module. Translations are needed for most languages. French translations have been partially completed.

Each user can have their own language settings.

This support lead to the decision to force the display settings for date and time fields to follow the ISO standards.

Limitations:

• only romanized languages supported (i.e. no kanji support).
• The data within the database is not translated, only the user interface.
• translations are separate from the application code.
