This suite was designed on a Client/Server system. This platform decision was made to support long term growth and stability of the system. We chose to use Open Source databases to keep the costs of the system down for us and for our customers. Our system uses Interbase/Firebird as the core database and MySQL on the web server for authentication and application support.
